We, at WorldWide Drilling Resource® thank you for what you do and hope in some small way this WorldWide DownHome DrillFest™ 2023, now held at this beautiful Central Buildings Event Center at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri, with its laid-back atmosphere, will give you a few days to kick back, relax, and have a good time with family and friends while making new friends along the way. You certainly deserve a break - all of you! So, this year, you will find quite a few changes. The main one is its location - The Fairgrounds! By holding it here, we are giving you the opportunity to be your independent selves. YOU make the choices as to where you want to stay - NO ROOM BLOCKS to worry about; there is an abundance of hotels within five (5) miles of the Fairgrounds - and some as close as 1.9 miles. YOU decide what you want to eat - No preplanned meals for you which require you pay ahead and eat what has been chosen for you. On-site concessions will be available with great menus, so everyone in your party from the eldest to the youngest can eat what they want, and it won’t break your bank. And you even get to relax with a cold drink of your choosing or a warm coffee or tea. YOU ARE THE BOSS. We have one of the best, if not the BEST Guest Speaker for you this year, Major Ed Pulido, U.S. Army (Ret.). He is anxious to sit down with you, have a drink, and chat. He’s a great guy and does really great work for our Veterans and children. He’s a husband and father of two adult girls now. The WWDR Team is certain you will enjoy meeting him and hearing him. And of course, we would be remiss if we didn’t tell you about the ALWAYS FUN KARAOKE - we do hope to challenge you for the top prize! No secrets given away here - you’ll have to be present and sing along with the WWDR Team at this year’s WorldWide DownHome DrillFest™ 2023. None other than our DJ’s from 2021 from ALL NIGHT SOUNDZ will be here to lead us along with songs you’d love to sing and dance to. Just because this is held on the Ozark Fairgrounds doesn’t mean you can’t dance on the concrete! Or just outside on the grass. Your choice ~ It’s Your night. The extra special offering at WWDR’s DrillFest is still our Contractor’s Benefit Auction.
