I thought this month we could dig into this “Green New Deal” stuff or the label of “Global Warming.” If you are not open-minded, you might want to move on to the next article - I’m not going to point fingers, just cover this subject from an idiot's perspective. Did you know: 7 The USA covers less than 2% of the world or global surface. 7 Russia, India, Africa, China, and Canada cover more than 20% of the global surface. 7 The combined population of the above countries is more than 4 billion. 7 The population of the USA is less than 450 million. Okay, so if every licensed driver in the USA purchased an electric car, would it make any difference in the global air quality worldwide? Seriously? If every homeowner in the USA built a wind device in their backyard, would it make a difference worldwide in the weather? If every truck driver in the USA stopped using diesel fuel, would it make a difference worldwide? Want more examples? I’ve got plenty of them. How about meat consumption? If we stopped consuming pork, beef, and chicken in the USA, do you think it would make a difference worldwide? Now don’t get me wrong. I am all for saving the world for our future generations and my offspring, but how about using a little common sense as we move toward this new normal? A few more stats: 7 The earth has been cooling since 1998. 7 In the science community, all have a variety of opinions, so it depends on who you choose to believe when it depends on the what, why, when, and how. 7 The Gaia principle - is simply that for millions of years the earth has learned to self-regulate. In other words, it has, over time, adjusted to trends, issues, challenges, and change. Imagine what you will find if you search the internet for “global warming” - enough to read for the rest of your life, but how much of it is true? “I'm saying, come on, the global warming thing? How did the ice melt during the ice ages? Were the dinosaurs driving SUVs around back then?” ~Larry the Cable Guy “Global warming is actually a misnomer. It should be “global extremes” and “global swings,” because you add - as you add more energy into the atmosphere, it sloshes around. Energy doesn't simply uniformly warm up the planet. And that means droughts in one area, enormous snowstorms in another area, 100-year floods here, 100-year forest fires there.” ~Michio Kaku My point is simply this - even if 100% of America does its part toward global temperature control and the rest of the world doesn’t do anything, that’s hundreds of countries and billions of people. What we do won’t make a difference. As long as we let these idiots keep giving us rationale after rationale, we all will eventually be s_______. I will never buy an electric car.
