31 JULY 2023 WorldWide Drilling Resource® RETIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT ~ our own ED MORANSKI, Chief Marketing Officer It is with mixed emotions I have made the decision to retire at the end of June. This decision did not come easy as I truly enjoy the drilling industry, and what I do. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many folks in this business, I am happy to call my friends. The learning just never stops, and I thank you all who have taken the time to guide me, teach me, and explain the different aspects of the drilling operations. The late Dave Thomas gave me my start into this industry which I knew nothing about (back in 2004). He, along with many others, put up with my bombardment of questions and puzzled looks when I had no clue what they were talking about. I have total respect for his drill crews, service department, and staff that took the time to educate me. WorldWide Drilling Resource® and its owner Ronnie Jones gave me the opportunity to see the drilling industry from another angle while still allowing me to be involved in the drilling world. The company truly is WorldWide; traveling the globe has its ups and downs, but the experience is priceless. Thank you to the Florida Team and all they do. You will be missed. So many other folks and companies have enlightened me to various segments of the drilling operations. I hesitate in naming them all in fear of not being totally inclusive in the list. But thank you to you all. It is time to close this chapter of my life and move on to the next adventure. Ed Moranski Publisher’s Note: Ed Moranski became a friend to us here at WorldWide while working with D & L Thomas, which was long before he ever came to be part of the WWDR Team. To say he will be missed is a gross understatement, for he truly has become part of our family. Many hours were spent with us from his remote office to our main office, as well as those trips across the world where we discussed plans to help our industry grow through helping our valued readers and advertisers. We truly went through “thick and thin” during these past years when the pandemic hit, and now the terrible pending recession which has made our efforts even harder ~ but with Ed, as well as each WWDR Team Member, we still stand tall and proud, ready to serve our industry. Yes, we all have a tear to shed this month, but know Ed and his wife Deb are eager to play with grandchildren and do a little slower travel together. From our house to yours Ed, enjoy your next BEST CHAPTER - just be sure to stay in touch on the Trail.
