In Memoriam Harold Wayne Stafford (1942~2024) Harold Wayne Stafford passed away February 16, 2024, in Jackson, Mississippi. Born in Quitman in 1942, he graduated from Heidelberg High School as valedictorian, then became the first petroleum engineer to graduate from Mississippi State University. He went on to work in the oilfields as a petroleum engineer for most of his life, traveling the world over drilling wells, including Russia, Haiti, and Alaska. Outside his career, Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and horses. He especially enjoyed watching his granddaughter barrel race, and was well-known in the equestrian community. Wayne is survived by his wife Betty; son Wes (Sheri); daughter Patricia (Chris); sisters Linda and Karen (Will); brother-inlaw Jimmy; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, with two great-granddaughters on the way. Myron Ronald Binstock (1958~2024) Myron Ronald Binstock of Dickinson, North Dakota, left this life on February 5, 2024. He grew up on his parents’ farm and attended school at Dickinson High. After graduating in 1976, he started hauling milk for local dairy farms. He married Nita and they had three children. His career in geothermal drilling took him all over the United States and began his love for traveling. He went from coast to coast - from the Bronx in New York, to Beverly Hills in California, all the way up to Canada. He retired in 2021. Myron enjoyed many things - particularly hunting, fishing, and spending time out at the family farm, where he was always happy to see the animals. He especially loved any time he got to spend around his family. Myron is survived by his children Julie, Josh (Lindsey), and Tim; grandchildren Ryan, Colton, and Justin; siblings Linda (Gordon), Larry (Jacque), Randy (Sherri), Curt, Eileen, LouAnn (Dave), Rodney (Rhonda), and Michele; and numerous nieces and nephews.
