We interviewed John Pearson, the fourth generation owner of Pearson Drilling and Pump Service, along with his daughter, Jaime Pearson, a passionate fifth generation driller. Currently, the company relies on its 2018 GEFCO 30K and before that, they had a 1998 30K, to get the job done. “The rig is efficient. We don’t spend a whole lot of time broken down. You can work the rig by yourself. It’s easy to use. It’s easy to learn. Overall, it’s just a good rig. The speed and efficiency are everything. They are rigs made by a driller and it shows,” John said.
