150 Years of Collective Drilling Industry Expertise Adapted from Information by Infinity Tool MFG Since their founding in 2009, Infinity Tool MFG has been committed to delivering exceptional customer service, producing top quality tools, and driving innovative solutions. The company operates under international quality standard ISO 9001:2015 certification, which means the company’s products and services meet the needs of customers through an effective quality management system. Infinity Tool is a leading manufacturer of drilling tools based in Benton, Illinois. With a comprehensive product line including polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) bits, tricones, down-thehole bits, cable tool bits, PDC reamers, and hole openers, they serve a diverse range of industries such as water well, horizontal directional drilling (HDD), geothermal, gas and oil, mining, construction, and geotechnical. Infinity’s expert engineering and drafting team designs and manufactures custom parts from even the most complex designs. Their team brings over 150 years of collective drilling industry expertise to every project. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility has seen some impressive growth during the last five years, increasing their manufacturing facility to 45,000 square feet to allow production to keep up with demand. As a result, they have been able to add several new machine tools to their facility, enabling them to more than double the manufacturing capacity. The expansion and increased output of the manufacturing facility has led them to hire more professionals in a range of departments, from sales all the way through to upper management, allowing an increased level of service to their clients. Since their last update (see the September 2019 issue of WWDR), Infinity Tool has significantly expanded its product line, introducing new tools designed for faster, longer lasting performance. The Shark Reamer was born out of a simple concept, to enable a rapid change of cutters on-site, minimizing downtime, and they come in sizes from 14” to 48”. Fit a new segment and be back up and running in minutes. Each cutter segment is installed with hand tools, maximizing reaming time and minimizing cost. All cutter segments are interchangeable no matter which position on the blade and are the same no matter what size of reamer. Their Maxi Rig PDC Reamers have been designed and engineered to cope with the increased demands of HDD maxi rig drilling. These reamers are built with a heavy-duty design to handle the demands of large diameter drilling, supplied with 6-5/8” API Reg box x box connections. The blades have replaceable cutter segments, which helps to minimize downtime when replacing worn cutters and are available in pull and push configurations. The PDC bit is specifically designed for HDD, the Rock Boss Extreme is one of the most steerable bits and comes with a range of features to help you drill through the rock fast. With solid steel body construction, these premium PDC cutters have high stock levels and a large range of diameters. Say goodbye to clogged nozzles! The Big Flush PDC range will make sure you never have that problem again in sticky shale or clay. They are designed to drill through mixed ground conditions and used for geothermal, geotechnical, and water well applications. For optimal drilling, this nozzle offers a high volume drilling fluid at a low pressure and can also be used for reverse circulation applications. They are available in sizes from 2-15/16” to 9-7/8”. They offer brochures specific to water well and HDD applications, allowing customers to focus specifically on the tools they need. The product brochures, as well as a main product brochure are on the resources page of their website. Earlier this year, the company opened up a second European office in Almelo, Netherlands. As well as giving them a European Union base for staff and product, their multilingual team can support customers in their own language.
