With the support of this grant, eligible communities such as Malden are able to conduct comprehensive evaluation of their treatment systems and identify enhancements for increased efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality. During this evaluation process, communities can pinpoint necessary actions to address immediate needs while also planning for future growth and development. The department is dedicated to helping Missouri communities improve their water and wastewater infrastructure. Through its Financial Assistance Center, the department offers funding opportunities to qualifying communities facing challenges with water quality, wastewater, and drinking water infrastructure.
