Stonepower’s dust binding solution involves spraying water with compressed air during the drilling process. This water mist effectively captures even the smallest dust particles in the air. A vacuum system then collects the damp dust, which can be gathered into a pile or bag for easy removal from the drill site. To ensure functionality in winter, the tanks are warmed using heat generated from the hydraulic line that runs through them. Initially, a larger volume of water is sprayed to effectively capture dust, with the amount gradually decreasing as drilling continues. To prevent freezing, it is essential to empty both the water tank and spraying system overnight.
