13 SEPTEMBER 2026 WorldWide Drilling Resource® Deep Foundations Institute Names 2026 Outstanding Project Award The Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) announced the Irishtown Bend Slope Stabilization Project by Richard Geottle, Inc. is the 2026 Outstanding Project Award winner. The site along the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio, experienced decades of movement before the large-scale foundation system was implemented. Construction was performed from land and water on the active landslide site within a live commercial shipping channel. The work required continuous geotechnical monitoring along with real time operational adjustments. The company, which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, will be recognized at the DFI 51st Annual Conference on Deep Foundations Awards Dinner later this year.
