I also believe it is time, more than ever in recent history, we need more brave souls who will speak out positively, take a stand for common sense, believe in what’s right, and have the courage to not let others who may be more powerful or influential disagree with them - silence them. I am starting to lose it when it comes to all this woke stuff. If you happen to be one of these people and disagree with me, it is your right, but it is also my right to have an opinion too. One of the critical lessons life has taught me is that inner peace cannot be achieved when you turn your life over to the outside world - whether it be fame, money, career, power, politics, sports, entertainment, or even organized religion. Real peace is the inner work which must be done continuously with awareness, maturity, common sense, and patience - and in today’s world, I would add courage. If your lifestyle or life in general lacks a sense of inner peace, you will tend to let emotions like blame, regret, stress, disappointment, anxiety, etc. determine your behavior, and often your daily routines or reactions. Show me someone with inner peace and I will show you someone who maintains calm during the storm, is patient in the midst of adversity, is unwilling to let others determine their behavior, and as a side note - tends to get sick less and live longer. And the opposite is also a tendency with people without inner peace as they tend to be less happy, content, in control of their life, and get sick more often and leave this world sooner.
